A New Beginning

Yesterday was incredible. Having to wake up at 11 in the morning and realise that I have a free day to do whatever I want and not have to go to work..the feeling is damn shiok. I took my time..rolled around in bed first before tian called to hurry me over to his place to begin our day. For the first day we have sakae sushi planned. Today was supposed to be stationery shopping in preparation for uni, followed by dance in the evening and wednesday is Sentosa day. Actually I have plans for everyday I'm not exactly free anymore!! nvm at least I'm doing fun things and spending quality time with people who are dearest to me.

So yesterday we caught up on shopping which I have not been doing properly for quite a while..realised I missed out the Zara sale and I found some nice tops but of cos the small sizes are gone at this point when the sale is almost over. New collection for Mango is in and the clothes are very nice!! Not cheap and some clothes are not suited for asians but rather for the models in their photos..but I love the designs!! Mango clothes are very nice..see them on the models..don't look at Singaporeans who wear them..haha sometimes I feel that we spoil the beauty of the clothing itself. It can be a very nice piece..like this barbie doll long pink top which I tried yesterday. But once I put it on..I look like crap..however the model in the photo shoot looked absolutely perfect in it. yeap. The problem lies with me.

Buffet at Sakae sushi was a killer. Tian and I have definitely outgrown the buffet thingy and our stomachs are obviously not adapted to buffet eating. We barely made 20 plates which means we only earned a few dollars from the buffet discount. If we had gone ala carte it could be cheaper than 16.90+++ times 2. And thing is we did not have proof that we're going to be NUS students so we couldn't get the student discount! So anyone who's going for sushi buffet..bring your admission letter!! hahahah it's 3 bucks discount k..better than nothing =p But the shiok thing is that we were ordering everything we felt like eating without having to restrict ourselves to a certain no. of plates (which we usually do to ensure that we don't spend too much). More shopping or rather walking to ease our full stomachs before we head down to Lido to catch Mindhunters. I actually planned to watch Sin City today but I thought we would not have a problem getting seats since it's a Monday evening but nope..we happily strolled to Lido at 7pm and the cinema was full house. Settled for Mindhunters in the end which lived up to expectations! It was a thrilling movie that did a good job in keeping the audience in suspense..we would never have guessed who the killer was. But the thing is there's nothing shocking or very interesting about why the killer is a killer and why he went around killing the whole team of FBI trainees..just a disturbed little kid to me. Don't know..but the ways he killed were ingenious and yeap..your weakness is the cause of your death. Go catch the movie..definitely worth the money. Tian definitely enjoyed himself.

Can't wait to watch Sin City though..maybe I should watch it on a weekend and get Mich and Jega to come with us so Tian can get the tickets for them, since Mich wanna watch it too. Going off to meet him soon and dance in the evening. By the way Mich, dance was fun though not so much a workout. I didn't perspire like a pig. Told you to join me last week but looking at your schedule I don't know how you can join me cos your evenings are mostly occupied with tuition. I usually go on Tuesday or Thursday evenings for jazz or hiphop introductory classes. Can't wait to upgrade to beginners class though so that it's more fast-paced and I'll get to learn funkier moves haha.

Last but not least..welcome back girls!! I don't know about the other girls but Jamie definitely had fun and told me that the food there was great!! Agreed that 4 full days is just right for a trip to bangkok..and I hope the other girls managed to buy some good stuff and enjoyed the bangkok culture. Looking forward to seeing them tonight!! I'm thinking of rouge bar..
