The boyfriend said he gets NSTEMI - non ST elevated myocardial infarction whenever I cut my hair. 

I don't know what the non ST part is, but yes he gets a heart attack. 

So my hair is deemed sacred to him and I'm not allowed to do anything to it.

Time to study...again

Finally got to webcam with my family after one month because Jacinta is always so busy on her laptop. Jonathan's looking handsome as ever but his tummy is looking more and more like my dad's. Still, at least he's growing a little taller and cute as ever. My mum, stunned me today with her opening line, "face chubbier already hor?". Forgot her exact words, whether she said it in Chinese or English, but all I registered was that my face is chubbier now. I nearly died. Good thing Jacinta disagreed and said my face looked the same. But anyway I know myself la, and also confirmed by Tian who sees me everyday, yes my face is definitely rounder now. Oh well. Wonder if that amused my mum. 

And my mum's still asking if she should send food over. I told her I didn't use all the premixes she stocked up for me because I'm learning to cook the dishes from scratch, thanks to a wonderful teacher. =p Recently conquered sweet&sour pork and Yanli demonstrated curry chicken when he was in town for a night. Wonder what's next. 

So yeap, haven't been updating very much because I've been busy sleeping, eating, hosting, making plans for the Germany trip in May and playing poker. So time just flew past like that and suddenly I realised I am 5 days away from my first exam for Block E, I don't know why I'm not panicking as much as I should be. 

Oh yes, I'm on exchange. =p

Can't wait for May to come.

Jessica is officially FAT with a super rounded face and no more defined chin. Omg this is so bad. I have to stop taking photos of myself now because I only spoil the photos.

Sigh how am I supposed to eat less here:(

Guests in Eindhoven!

March and April saw us welcoming 2 groups of people to our humble little town! First it was the Stockholm exchange people who dropped by for a night on 17 March before they left form Amsterdam and Berlin for their Easter holiday. I was really looking forward to their visit because I'd be meeting Kristy and Ee Min!!!

The NUS-TU/e exchange people with Sonia. Of course this is not all the Singaporeans in Eindhoven, there are about 5 more others whom we don't usually hang out with.

Outside Kristy's hotel room, where we thought this was farewell but I ended up staying over in her room because Jordan and I stayed to chat with the girls till about 2am that night.

I miss you girls already!!! If only you could stay a little longer!

Then come April and Cyrus and Jordan had the pleasure to host Shiyan, Chris and Kohei for 2 nights! It's been more than 6 months since we last saw Shiyan! Even she can't remember when we last met up! I think it was at her birthday party. We spent the nights catching up with Shiyan and getting to know Chris and Kohei, over dinner prepared by head chef and assistant chef, Samuel, and rum cocktails prepared by Sonia.

Me and the guests who were getting ready for bed. Kohei (Kyoto University) and Chris (NUS) are exchange students at Brighton, UK and they were touring Holland and Brussels with Shiyan before they end their 4-week (!!!!!) Easter holiday. And Shiyan's only be going back to Singapore in August so it's another 4 more months before a proper BIE reunion at Chiew's! Oh and Shiyan was conversing in German on the phone with her friend and I thought it was so cool. Learning a foreign language was something I wanted to do ever since RGS days but of course my inability to cope saw me dropping Japanese and I also never got the opportunity to learn French in NUS:(

Next up would be Yanli and a few other exchange guys from Denmark who are visiting the Netherlands on 18 April and I would be meeting him on the 19th, probably bringing them to Rotterdam, Utretch/Keukenhof. Yes Yanli, I've found out that the tulip gardens are at Keukenhof, which I would be visiting this Friday so I'll preview it first and decide whether it's worth the 13.50 euro entrance fee ok! haha
