At the airport

I'm here!!! Exploring Terminal 3 all alone is a whole new level of fun. Tried all the SKII stuff on my hands, oogle at all the gorgeous makeup but too bad I can't buy them...had my last cup of teh bing before I am deprived of teh bing for a month...I'm finally here!!!!! Omg I'm so freaking excited to take the plane...I think I love flying...just don't give me bumpy rides and I'll totally enjoy the experience! Flying is pampering...the movies, the blankets, the wine, the food, all the drinks you can have...haha I love flying! New York, here I come!!!

And Tian, I'll see you soon, in god knows how many hours. This is my longest flight yet, hmm but not really since there's a stopover at Frankfurt. I'm going back to Germany!!! haha ya righttt.

Idol

I actually thought Adam "screamed" a bit too much for his first song. There was just one tiny part that I would have liked him not 'scream' it the way he did for other songs - the way he screams it and sticks his tongue out. Yeap. Just that one part. The other parts were awesome.

Haha I enjoyed Chris' 2nd performance cos I like the song and his version was interesting. Was totally singing to it. It was a fun and surprising performance. Good job!

How come when Adam screams, I can't make out what he's singing? As in I really can't make out the words.:( I'm surprisingly not as crazy about him today as I was the past few weeks, Mad World is still my favourite performance from him. 

The day my FYP supervisor thought I was a smoker

Was it the puffy eyebags? Or the paleness? Or my morning runny nose?

Him: "Maybe you won't have it (runny/stuffy nose) if you smoke less." ??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Me: (Stunned) "Oh, I don't smoke."
Him: "OH! You don't smoke??"
Me: (Thinking to myself: "Huh, is that a crime? Do all the female PhDs in your lab smoke?!")

What the???!! Thank god for the lovely lunch with Mich at Holland V shortly after the meeting. Mark and her have a very good thing going on, practically inseparable.:)

Anyway the two supervisors are taking turns to talk me into continuing my work for a few (or many??) more months to publish a paper on it. A meeting last Friday and today I was called back to school for another meeting with the Chem Eng sup. I told them I can't give them a reply immediately. I'm still waiting for a sign.

I'm sorry, but when Adam goes first, I think the others don't have to sing anymore. I feel sorry for them. Nowadays I find myself watching American Idol just for Adam's performance. He has to win Idol!!!!

Omg..Danny's song...I was totally imaging Adam singing that song instead. Danny can't do that scream for nuts. He sounded like a screeching old chicken, cos he couldn't reach it and he sounded hoarse. Omg total disaster. I can totally picture Adam singing that song!!! It would have been really nice.

Freedom

In just 13 hours...I'll be partially FREE...and a lot happier. !!!!!!!!!! Gosh I'm so excited I can't study. No, actually I don't want to study anymore. I'M FINALLY TAKING MY LAST EXAM IN NUS!!!!!

If you don't know who that is, please go slap yourself. hahahah her hand was on Tian's back!!! The boyfriend is still damn high from his encounter with Cindy Crawford. She was sitting right beside him at Pastis and even asked him what he was eating. OMGGGGGGG

Almost there

Zomg it costs 12.50USD to watch a movie in the States, and I'm watching Wolverine on Wed for only $5!!! I love Singapore a bit more now. haha anyway I'm quite dead cos I'm seriously not in the mood to study at all. Have been chatting online with Tian all day, running around giving tuition on weekends, napping more than one in the day...I hardly studied and BioMEMS is really dry. At least I've covered the notes once. Argh. Now I'm only looking forward to my eventful Wed with the bioengineers!! Early lunch after the morning paper, followed by Wolverine!!, then Hatha 1 at Pure Yoga and dinner! Thursday will be lunch with the girlfriends! + lots of tuition lessons and yoga throughout the week. Yea after Wednesday I'm officially a full-time tuition teacher. zzzzzz
