Heal the World

Full version of Thriller: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOj5H5W9zYo

Seriously, who else dances like that? Actually, you know the part where he and the dancers did the 45 degree slant or bending thing I don't know what to call that, were strings used? Cos I seriously don't think it's physically possible to execute such a move...and if he really could do that then it's damn sick la.

I think if I ever had the chance to see him at his concert and he starts singing Heal the World, I think I'll start crying.

But I'm not fortunate enough.

1 july 09 - 31 dec 09
Mon - Thurs: 8.30freakingam - 6.00pm
Fri: 8.30am - 5.30pm
Sat: off-day (of cos la.)
Sun: rest day

I think I need to remain jetlagged forever to be on time for work.

Finally parted with my hard-earned 1000 bucks today and my french lessons will be starting on 1st sep. Couldn't start earlier cos the classes for the upcoming session is full. I signed up for 3 sessions to get 10% off my course fees, so up till end of feb 2010. Tues and Thurs, 7pm-9pm. That means from 1st sep onwards, I cannot have dinner appointments on tuesdays and thursdays, but of course post-dinner activity in town is no problem since I'll be at Newton.

Yay to a new beginning.

Next phase

Found something to do for the next 6 months. Sort of like taking some time to upgrade myself and learn more about the industry before I actually try getting a job. Gonna start learning French too and I can only start in September because the upcoming session is full.

I'm going to stop planning and thinking so far ahead. I've been doing that since JC and it is not working. Things does not always turn out the way I planned so I'm going to take a step back from now on, and let things flow. Taking up the Bioprocess Internship Program is the first step. Better to be learning and getting closer to the industry than doing nothing at all. I'm not going to think about the money, I'm not going to care whether those major pharma companies actually recognise this program and I can't foresee what's going to happen after December. I'm just glad that I have 6 more months to decide what I want to/should do with my life.

Took some time last night to update all my supervisors, referees and mentors on my status now and also thanked them for their help thus far. My UROP supervisor said she always believe that God allows things to happen for a purpose, we may not understand now, but in time to come, we will see a clearer picture.

I'm not going to rush to see it and I shall let it slowly unfold itself.
