Today is such a happy day

Everybody!!! (though I don't think anyone actually comes to my blog anymore but that's ok cos I really hardly blog) Anyway!!! I am so happy today and I have to sacrifice my lunch break to blog because I am the PROUDEST GIRLFRIEND IN THE WHOLE WORLD TODAY!!!!! I am the VERY PROUD girlfriend of my dearest DR LEE TIAN LOON!!!!!!! wooohhooooooo!!!!!!! I was smiling like a stupid idiot at the corridor just now to my phone cos I saw Tian's email as well as SMS from Tian's dad who went to NUS today to collect his results and employment package. Time for celebration!!!!!! How how how?!!!! haha anyway I'm so happy I've decided to meet Michelle for dinner today although I'm not dressed to go out. Good thing she asked me in the morning!!!!! yayyyyy!!! I can spread the happiness to her later. haha woooohhhhooooooo!!!!!! I'm so proud of Tian right now I think I feel like marrying him immediately, I'm like happy and crazy enough to propose to him. hhahahahahaha. too bad he's not in Singapore. :p

I have the best boyfriend in the world and I only want him and only him in my entire life till I die.:)

The love affair

I think I've finally decided, or at least I hope this is final:

3. Raisin/Sang City...still can't decide which colour, but my top 2 choices are quite fixed.

Yayyyy. Now I just need to prepare to part with my money and pray that at least London or France has my top 2 choices.

Sandra Bullock

Tian would know that she's one of my 'favourite-st' actresses of all time because I practically dragged him to watch almost all her movies. And the only Sandra Bullock movie that I failed to make him watch turned out to be the one she won her first Academy Award for.:( He missed out on such a good show but one day he'll definitely catch it on cable and then I can scold him again for not watching it with me. :p


I also think she's so gorgeous.:)

Of late

All I can say is, I'm super proud of Tian because he's studying so hard like I've never seen before, I don't think I've studied this hard before, the 4am and then up at 7.30am...I can never do that. I'm just so glad that this insane period is going to be over soon in exactly 20 days, doesn't matter that he's leaving me for another 20 days or so, it's happier to know that he's having hell lots of fun overseas than seeing him study like there's no day and night. He needs a haircut and I don't even dare to suggest. Don't know when he has the time but he needs to look presentable for his exams so he has no choice. Haiz. Don't know whether to be thankful or not that I don't have to go through such a gruelling trial. Where I am now, I have all the time to spend with my family, my friends, to read books, catch up on news, take extra courses etc. I have all the time in the world to go to town like how I always want to, so much so that I don't feel like going anymore. Anyway, just can't wait to get back to my normal life with Tian. Oh, and I can't wait to attend his graduation!!! I've always been quite miserable thinking about that day but I think it's time to grow up and stop harping on what I can't be but instead, be happy about where I am now and what I can do that they can't. I need to be proud of myself, at least on that day.

Random facts about us

He eats the ice cream in the mocha float with a spoon.
First thing I do with my mocha float is to mix the ice cream into the drink and vigorously attempt to melt it.

He doesn't go for branded items. He thinks it's insane spending 2k on bags. Every branded bag that I point out to him on Orchard Road, he would say it's fake without looking at it.
Unlike him, I appreciate the quality material and fine handcraft that goes into making those bags and I would, one day, get myself one.

He doesn't want me to buy him a branded watch or a branded wallet when I told him I want to.
I want him to buy me those things but he would never ask if I want. haha

He has to watch his soccer till wee hours in the morning.
As much as I want to be a good girlfriend and spend a lot of time with him, I can't make it past 1am.

I can sleep for more than 12 hours, like today. He thinks I'm a pig and don't know how that is possible.

My iPhone is for checking my emails, twitter, facebook, and the internet.
His iPhone is for his numerous games.

He is a safe and good driver. I feel the safest in his car compared to everyone else's.
I drive 10-20km/h faster than him on average and I am bad for his car, especially the brakes and suspension. :p

Either I hate my old clothes or I've grown out of them.
He always ask me to wear my old clothes. He still wears his clothes even when there are holes in them.

On average I buy a piece of clothing forthnightly.
On average he buys a piece of clothing once a year?

He doesn't tell me about his school life but he would want me to tell him about my work day.
First month, I told him a lot about work. Now I've become lazy. Anyway he can hear about it when I sleep-talk about work, which happened recently. And I always wanna know what he does in school everyday but he always says nothing much so I stopped bugging him.

He loves my long hair and hated my bangs. He would tell me my hair looks damn nice even when it's dry and curls in all directions.
I hate my hair and constantly think of what I can do to my hair - rebond, dye, cut.

Many times when I'm feeling so in love, I'd tell him I love him.
He always disturbs me by saying "that's good". :p

He loves having me over at this place and the sacrifice he makes is waking up an hour earlier to send me to jurong east for my company bus, and lending me his car on weekends for tuition and to get home.
I'd tell him, excuse me, do you see a ring on my finger? so why must I be at your place everyday? :p

Chippendales

I swear Chiew is trying to pollute the little innocent mind of mine haha. I've never even heard of Chippendales, not even after visiting Vegas, probably cos I'm with a group of guys, and the whole time we're looking at boobs, in the form of cards all over the floor, or posters on trucks and shops, and those of the girls of Treasure Island. So I had to google Chippendales but I still can't find the answer to my question: how bare do these guys get? I just hope they don't come into the audience...so I'm so not getting the Cat 1 seats. Shy ok. But even for $150, I think Tian is going to make noise about the price though he's not paying for it. Is the show that good?! But then again, it's also an opportunity to visit the new parts of Sentosa.


So how? Will it be the ultimate girls' night out? :)

Spring

Wish list from Topshop Spring Collection...it just goes on and on...

Just admiring...didn't say I'm buying...don't even dare look at the shoes. Of course I wouldn't mind having them cos they're lovely, but I actually think I've way too many clothes (like finally admitting=p), hence my recent attempts to re-wear my old dresses.

I had a well-spent+rested weekend and I'm looking forward to work tmr!

I finally got my office laptop and phone!!! woohooo!!! I'm finally reconnected with the outside world.:) Ok lets do some work.

New year, new beginning

Today was my final presentation at BTI and tomorrow will be our graduation ceremony. Unreal. I've said this many times before but I still can't believe how fast time flies. I can still remember the first day at BTI, quite clearly. The board room, ee min and clarice across the table, chong haw somewhere in front of me speaking with his american accent and I was like wooo. There was goliath too right at the end, slightly slimmer, looked a bit dao. haha. janice was beside me, wasn't supposed to be there cos she was expected to be back from US the next day. Recognised jensen a few seats away for me and smiled at him. Of cos there was weng kuan and stanley the lifescience guy. Thought there's going to be some nus/ntu alliance w married americanaccent chong haw the odd one out. HAHA. No it was nothing like that. 6 months flew past with some really draggy parts in between plus some really exciting periods too and I don't think there's any other period in my life when I've learnt more than I did in the past 6 months. All I can say is, I'll forever be grateful to BTI for all the effort, money, and manpower invested in our intensive training and for the opportunities given to us. We've met some really nice people who are so helpful and patient in teaching us. So thank you to them, and to the rest of us, may we all land in places where we wanna be, soon, and do the programme and institute proud.

Would not have survived and done well for BIP without you guys. xx

Cuir Epi Rouge

So I finally bought myself a present, as a little reward for getting a job finally. Been thinking about it for months already and it took so long cos I couldn't decide on the design. It was a tough decision because they were all gorgeous in their own ways: the limited edition monogram w stamps, the PM malle blanche which is only available on the US website and the damier azur. In the end I got none of the above. Haha.

Leaving for HK in less than a week's time and I figured I should draw out an itinerary, collating all the recommendations from Shawn, Cheryl and Janice. They're super nice to send me long emails about food and shopping recommendations for HK. Chiew was right, better have a rough idea of what I'm gonna do each day, if not I'd end up making my family walk in circles all over HK.

Omg. After planning the itinerary, I realised 4 days is so not enough for HK. zzzzz n Tian's mum haven't given me her HK food list. I'm having most difficulty squeezing meals into the itinerary! How much can one eat in a day!

Things that primary school kids do these days

My primary one brother was too bored in class one day and decided to cut his own hair. Said the teacher was not in class for some reason. Started snipping off part of his already short fringe. No idea why his classmates didn't stop him. Probably joined in the fun. And I'm horrified. Why would he even think of cutting his own hair in school?!! Primary school teachers need to give their students more homework. Luckily his hair is not too screwed up. Just slightly uneven on one side. Oh well he doesn't need to look nice anyway, it's just primary school.

A lot of things to think about these days and no matter how I use shopping and travelling to distract me, I still can't escape from reality. Friends who have settled down, I really envy you all.
