Yayy~!!!

Lardeedar~ I'm not going to tell you what's inside these parcels haha! Someday you'll get to see them..ah hem.

So exciting!! I love surprises!! Haha that's the fun in online shopping. You'll never know when to expect the stuff to arrive, and one day when you least expect it, it'll pop up on your study table!!! Yeap, I'm the girl who's totally into silly surprises, if I don't get surprises (which is most of the time =p), then I'll give my friends surprises!!! Especially on birthdays right girls and THE guy?~!! Not forgetting Valentine's Day which just past. I think I stunned him there for a while haha.

Since I didn't buy a single thing from town for the past 2 months, guess these stuff made up for it!! Heehee. Oh by the way I'm so so happy today because I met Tian!! Hey I didn't get to see him the whole weekend ok..last friday did I meet him? No I don't think so too. See how Tian-deprived I am..haha I missed him so so much!! Yeap and I finally met him for about 2 hours today, had dinner at his place. And I also bought a pair of earrings for his mum because when I saw it at the arts bazaar today at forum, I thought it's rather pretty and simple yet glam (cos it's gold in coour) and would match a black outfit perfectly. It always feels nice when you give and make people smile! And then I reach home to find these two parcels on my table..double happy!! Oh and why I'm feeling rather good today, because I had school from 8.30am to 5pm and after a 3-hour physics lab, I did not feel tired at all!! Not even now!! yayy I'm becoming a super woman.

I have a shopping date with Jamie tomorrow afternoon after school!! Yeap my debut in town after the longest time ever. I wonder what good stuff town has to offer me tomorrow..well Mich is broke that means there's something really wrong with me if I leave town empty-handed tomorrow. Babe, thanks for accompanying me..and if Mich gets bored with Jega, do pop by to join us for even a short while ok?~! Yayyy I love being happy. Oh pardon the previous post, that was a good example of me PMS-ing. Sorry. It's rather accurate haha, whenever I sound like that, and when pimples start popping out on my face like nobody's business, then you know the time of the month is here again. =p

Study hard guys, good luck to those with mid-term tests, good luck to all med people who're having their CAs in 2 weeks' time, and to those without any upcoming tests like myself, continue studying!! It's a vicious cycle, once you start, you're not allowed to stop!! So just mug till our brains get deep-fried. Good night!

Stuck in a hole

I have a bulging tummy now but I can't stop eating. For the past few weeks I think I have been eating more junk than usual. YOU can't blame me because other than studying, there's nothing else I can do except eating. I hate the state I'm in now, extreme obesity. My stomach is so big now I really don't know what to do about it. N I can't really do anything about it because I have to sit at my table almost the whole day! I'm getting rather tired of my life now. I don't even know why I'm studying. And eating cookies and chocolate in front of my mac has become my only way of escape. I'm really sick of this. Other than tuition early in the morning, I have stayed at home the whole damn day on a Saturday, and also Sunday, just like every weekend. You see why my life has no meaning now? Oh ya, there's no use whinning. Let's just go back to studying, shall we?

I just want my old life back. But somehow, it's over. Thanks to me, thanks to you.

Friday, February 24, 2006

One fine day I'm going to slap this man to bring my old dad back. And don't make me scream at you in front of your stupid, good-for-nothing and screwed up drinking friends.

Goodbye

S. Rajaratnam just passed away, it was quite a sudden passing, heart attack, like my grandfather. I was just on the bus home from IFG squash when I heard the news report about 'the passing away of one of the founding fathers of Singapore'. It's just rather weird because only recently I've been reading much about his and LKY's contributions to Singapore during the pre and post merger period, and soon I'll be reading more about how these ministers work together to construct the Singapore City, after we were 'kicked' out of Malaysia by the Tunku. I just found out that Rajaratnam wrote the national pledge, he was a strong advocate of a multi-racial Singapore, hence we pledge "one united people, regardless of race, language or religion"...

Ness's blog is so sad..I was reading the lyrics she wrote on her blog..and then my sister who happened to know the song started singing to it and I realised how sad the song is, it can almost make me cry. I guess some songs do really convey some things that we want to say to our loved ones, or otherwise, the songs tell of our experiences with love.

Be strong, girls. Guys can make us, or break us.

NUS Centennial Car Rally

9am - Off we go in Roy's car to the Changi Chapel and Museum.

Challenge 1 - Lilliput, Big Splash. Mich and I were up for this easy one..haha. This Lilliput place is really quite cute with all the miniature bridges and golf courses and trains..so colourful too. But I think it's for kids la..I wonder who will go all the way to East Coast to play mini golf. Well, I didn't know this place existed before today.

Challenge 2 - Labrador Park. I had this feeling that I've been to this park before, yet at the same time it seemed so foreign to me. The scenary was perfect, the sea, the grass and greens..a quiet park, nice place to hang out and enjoy the sun on a Saturday afternoon with your loved one.

We were given this bonus question of when the Dragon's Teeth Gate was blown up. Now what's the Dragon's Teeth Gate? Heh I didn't know the history behind it and Tian was the one who ran all the way to the 'gate' to search for the answer on the information board or sth so I didn't get to read the story about Zheng He and this 'gate'. Thing about this race is that it brought us to many places we would otherwise not have explored in Singapore, but because we were racing, we could not waste time enjoying the scenery and learning more about the history of Singapore from this places we visited.

At this challenge, first, one member (who was Tian) had to stick his hand into this bin of mealworms to find a number which would indicate which 'food' he has to eat. Thank god he didn't have to eat these live worms. Something dead or bolied or fried is way better than a live insect.

This is the 'extreme food' that my brave darling Tian had to eat. Some boiled cocoon or sth. He said he tasted like sour apple. Not too bad. Thing is the people from NUS at this station even picked up one to eat while Tian had to finish up his 'food'. Like huh, it's nothing to them la. Anyhow, I think this cocoon was better than the wasp that Christine voluntarily ate. Anyway it was supposed to be some Chinese herbal medicine and she's used to eating insects (don't ask me why) so she did it. Gross!!

Oh while Tian was eating the cocoons, Roy had to stick his hand into this covered box to feel for something and identify 'IT'. Very long, thin, it moves, I think it's quite obvious that it was a water snake. Haha I wouldn't have dared to stick my hand in. I'll just scream.

Challenge 3 - Stamford Tyres. This is an easy challenge which requires one to carry a tyre and complete this obstacle course. I think he had to complete a certain number of rounds and each subsequent round we complete will earn us 20 bonus points. Mich and I volunteered to step out of this challenge to allow the guys to complete more rounds for the team. We'll only slow the team down anyway. Oh girls get a lighter tyre. haha no kick eh. That's Tian doing his thing.

Challenge 4 - Jurong Frog Farm. Basically at least 2 team members had to complete at least 8 rounds in 3 minutes and then the more rounds you complete, the more bonus points the team will get. It's like a shuttle run relay but with a frog in your hand. Haha let's just say I really wanted to help because to run for 3 minutes is damn tiring and we could tell that they're getting tired already. I walked up to the start point and took a peep into the tub. I just couldn't bring myself to hold the frogs up. Seriously, they're bigger and fatter than they look in the guys' hands ok. I was trying to psycho myself to maybe touch them but arghhh they were sitting still there and staring back at me. I didn't do it. The feedback from the guys was that the frogs are softer than they thought, like a bag of water perhaps, and they were obedient. hahhaha. I regret not trying to even touch the frog. The challenge could have helped me become a more rugged girl. haiz! That's Roy with the froggie.

This was a shot taken in the car on the way to Lim Chu Kang where the frog farm is (haha Michelle, it's not near Jurong Bird Park, remember ah..). Mich and I were enjoying the clear skies and fluffy white clouds in the back seats while team leader Tian Loon navigates with the street directory and Roy drives on.

Wanling, Me and Mich at the last Challenge 6, the G-MAX. Wanling was one of the very brave ladies who did not even think twice about queuing up for the g-max. She's not even the least scared loh. Mich and I stayed out of this challenge though it was a perfect opportunity to take the ride at a very low price of $10 per person instead of $35 i think. I'm a coward I know..and I'm not proud of it. Sorry Tian. I'm just born with such little guts that I disgust myself too. Haiz very sad. I'm almost good at nothing, I feel so useless. I think Mich would have taken the ride if the guys and I had persuaded her more. She did well in Hong Kong the previous time we went there.

In case you were wondering, Challenge 5 was at Snow City where we had to endure the cold for about 5 minutes and go down the snow slide 2 times. Haha the snow slide was so fun!! though Mich and I were screaming away because it was quite fast and we were been spun around such that we landed on the bottom of the slide facing back. And we brought our own jackets from home (other teams didn't so there were enduring the cold in their thin T shirt) so Mich and I were doing fine other than our frozen hands because we had to touch the 'snow'. It can't beat Japan anyway, and it made me miss skiing in Japan so so much. I want to go back to Japan again!!!

The guys queuing up, their turn was up next.

Before take off. Waiting for the elastic straps to become taut before they're shoot up into the sky, like catapult.

First, they strap you tightly to your seat. Then they tilt you backwards such that you're looking up at the sky and anticipating the traumatic take-off. They said this is perhaps the worst part of the ride.

Up they go!

Tian and I. Tired but going strong. I'm so glad I spent this eventful day with him, and we both agreed that this is perhaps a once in a lifetime chance to do such a car rally in SIngapore (unless NUS Motoring Club organises this again next year!!). We ran and perspired like crazy, we were frantically calling everywhere up for addresses of places such as the Newater Plant in the 'east' which we did not manage to find in the end, we worked in a team and had strategies, and I got to know more places in Singapore. The participants agreed that the NUS Motoring Club did a good job at finding these locations.

Mich and I in the back seat. This was on the way to Joo Chiat to complete a questionnaire, our last location to go before we head back to NUS. We were starving but did not stop for lunch unlike some teams because we did not want to waste time. Not eating is the hardest thing to do in Joo Chiat. I never knew that place was a food haven. I had a very romantic idea when we were driving down the very long Joo Chiat Road in search for answers to some questions that we were given, that is strolling along Joo Chiat Road on a cool day, hand in hand with Tian, and trying all the food that we desire. Like a food trip, but very relaxed, just eat and eat and enjoy the ancient feel of the street with all the old shophouses.

The CBD area, though they're just buildings, I still think the scenary is nice. We drove on the CTE so many times la..too and fro..haha this race sucks petrol from your car by the way, but nvm, it was real fun and we're contributing to charity anyway!! You can already see the dark clouds in the picture..

Then it Poured. So heavily, that Mich and I were so worried for Roy, because it was impossible to see the road in front of him. It's scariest driving in heavy rain. Thank god we were on our way back to NUS already, so Roy could take his time, or else Mich and I would be screaming in the back seat with Roy driving fast in this rain. Oh did I mention the feeling of driving (or rather sitting in the car) in the rain is very shiok too because you feel so dry and protected from the downpour. =)

At the end of the race, waiting at the Science canteen for the buffet dinner and prize-giving ceremony. We were starving I tell you..the rain has stopped too. In the end, only Zhenjin's team won something, 5th prize in the inter-faculty category, and Wanling's team won something too, under the open category. Haiz too bad we didn't win anything, it was really hard to win actually, especially in the open category where there're more teams. But now we know how the race works and Mich and I have thought of a good strategy we can use for the next race so I really hope they'll organise the race again next year!!! Good job team!! I had a great time with you guys!! It's been quite a while since we met up and yay we had so much fun and drama packed in one day!! By the way our team name was 'Who Dey?!" haha, inspired by the winners in the last Amazing Race Team edition, remember their T-shirts?~!!

Relieved, and Smiling.

I did it!! It's over!! It has been a heart-racing, mind-boggling damn week for me and many other Engineering Year Ones and well, it's done now!! We survived!! You guys don't know how relieved I am. First thing when I met Tian I screamed into his face and when we were warming up my hotdog for dinner, I was jumping up and down in his kitchen. It's like a HUGE load off my shoulders, and just for one night, I did not have to think about work. After my physics test today, I reached Tian's place at 8 plus and I watched White Chicks!!! I haven't been in front of the TV this long ever since don't know when and I had a good time relaxing and laughing at the 2 guys in the show. They're quite cute actually, as in good-looking. Haha the show is quite hilarious, and I totally let go of all my stress and tension from this evening and had a good laugh. What an amazing night!!! Though the end of midterms only means the start of the end of semester examination, I am glad I had one night to catch my breath. And now, I shall start work again. My work is never-ending. Sometimes I think I'm born to not being able to enjoy life. They say if your ear lobes are small, it means you have little wealth. The bigger your ear lobes are, the richer you are (think Buddha). Yea and the thing is, my ear lobes are almost non-existent. It means I'm meant to work hard or maybe slog all my life, just for a better life. And Tian has huge ear lobes you know. Oh well. Nothing is fair in this world. I'm just glad I'm doing fine now, and at least I'm hardworking, like my mum. Or else I'll just be a good-for-nothing teenager rotting away in a corner of our small island.

Before I go, I wanna thank Baorong dearest, Tian, Dedrick, Brenda, and not forgetting Jen who was trying to help me plan my attack before she left for the States. I'm so glad you guys are here with me. I feel like the PAP now fighting for a cause. They fought for independence for Singapore through merger (ok I'm studying Nation Building as a module you see..=p). Right now I'm fighting to pursue my interest. And I'm praying so so hard.

I wonder how Jamie did for her law pagent today, in her hot skimpy outfit (from her verbal description of the dress). Baorong and I wonder a lot about the soon-to-be lawyers right babe? Haha.

Ready, Get Set, Go!

My most decent and relieving Mathematics paper so far. I only took 3 mathematics papers ever since I enter Uni actually but Maths had been my nightmare in Uni. Got a B last semester. Although I couldn't do 2 questions in today's MCQ paper, it was still good because I had time to check my other answers and I'm assured a 10/12 heh. Recalling last semester's midterm paper, I was in a total daze after the paper because I had no idea why I couldn't do the integrations and my confidence in maths was an all time low. Anyway the guys agreed that those 2 questions were for distinguishing the A+ students from the rest of us. Haha that's perfectly fine..because I only want an A!!! That's it..I'm going to ace mathematics and physics. I'm going to pull my CAP up no matter what. I have accepted my life as it is now, though it's made worse with a boyfriend who has no interest in going to town with me anymore..no more movies, no more shopping till May. I miss going out with him so so much haiz. For now, I should just think of my studies.

Last midterm paper on Friday evening, and Saturday would be a real fun and exciting day for me, Tian, Mich and Roy because we're taking part in the NUS Centennial Car Rally! By the way, if you read this Mich, there's bonus points for the best-dressed car haha. Theme is 'treasure hunt'. Oh the car rally is a race around Singapore, with elements of Amazing Race and Fear Factor. I'm quite sure the guys would be eating the insects on our behalf haha.

What should I do tomorrow night after my paper? It'd be too late to pop by Tian's place already, anyway I shouldn't be distracting him. I'm just itching for an express manicure and a good meal at Holland V. Yeap I need a date. Oh did I mention I want to watch hell a lot of movies like Brokeback mountain, North Country etc but don't have anyone to watch with? Somebody date me!! I really really want to watch North Country.. Charlize Theron totally rocks.

Happy Valentine's Day..Tomorrow!

Woohoo I'm so rejuvenated now. Just played my first game for IFG..Ryan owes Linda and I a treat haha. Well my game just confirmed that I've super unfit now but hmm..thank god the determination is strong. But wah I really can feel how weak my heart is now..I was like 'beat faster!! I'm feeling faint and I'm in need of more oxygen damn it!!' haha luckily I survived. All I need is for my tests to be over before I can find time to exercise. As I was telling Baorong, I'm so glad I played for IFG..though I'll be missing most of the matches because of my tests in the evenings. Well I made Ryan happy..I got to meet all the squashies again and talked to Linda (who diaoed me as usual and said my eyebags are huge and I'm prettier in Sec 2 =p), and also I actually feel more awake and rejuvenated now, with that adrenaline rush to start studying!! Haha oh Ryan's very nice..he bought the Engine team Redbull, told me it enhances your performance and if you drink it you won't be able to sleep..supposed to give you energy. I wonder how the drink works, scary, sounds like drugs to me la. Anyway I arrived late so I only received my Redbull from him after my match. I shall keep it for Wednesday I guess, cos I have tutorial at 8.30am that morning and I have to survive till 7pm for my SS test. I'm scared to try it actually, chemicals in the drink may not work with the enzymes in my stomach hmm. Now I know why Baorong calls Ryan 'brother', he's a sincere and friendly guy, I must influence Linda to like him more haha! Linda thinks he's irritating cos he kept 'bugging' Linda to play for Engine. Well, I'm glad he succeeded. Linda always makes me laugh heh. My next and final game is next Monday..and sadly I won't be able to meet the medicine people or Mich (not that I want to get thrashed by Baorong again or play another tough, mind-and-heart-boggling match with Mich =p).

I love Baorong giving me a lift to the AYE bus-stop. Tian said I reached home so quickly haha! But more importantly, I get to talk to Baorong on regular basis now whenever she gives me a lift!! Too bad the journey is quite short and I always cannot finish talking to her..haha I guess there's really no end when girls talk right? Anyway Baorong and I are excited about Valentine's Day though we would not be enjoying a romantic night with our dearest ones. Why? Hmm.. . ??? Not as if I'll be getting lovely flowers or gifts. And we're dating our books =p Let's see..tomorrow evening I'll be dating Lee Kuan Yew through my SS notes..yeap. Tian's mum has received a very lovely 'basket' of roses from Tian's dad, with that fluffy pink thing at the sides for decoration and also golden strips. So pretty you know!! There's a love note of course. It's so pretty I tell you, you shoud see the colour of the roses, I love that red. I want it on my nails haha!! I forgot to ask Auntie what's her favourite flower. Hmm. Anway somehow Tian did not inherit the 'buy flowers for your beloved' gene from his dad muahahaha. I'm not complaining! I totally understand =) I know they're a waste of money (especially on these money-sucking occasions like V-day when the price of flowers double) because they die so quickly, but unfortunately I belong to that category of girls who totally adore flowers haha! I must be like Mich.

(I'm chewing on Nata De Coco and almond pudding now, my mum made dessert. Thing is my tastebuds seem to have lost the 'thing' for nata de coco. I used to love it, and everyone loves nata de coco!! But I don't know why I find it too sweet now though still chewy..and the almond pudding/jelly is yummier though it's actually quite tasteless. haha I like the texture I guess. Taste changes as one grows up..)

Almost everyone's talking about Valentine's Day tomorrow la..Linda asked Ryan if he's taking this special 'her' out, and I overheard that they're gonna have a romantic time at the beach. And Baorong gave the idea of using candles or sth like that haha. Typical romantic Baorong. So unfair. Engineering Year Ones got so many tests this week but not the Year Twos. And everyone's like asking everyone their plans for tomorrow, if they have dates n stuff. Poor Tian. I'm sorry I can't spend the evening with you, but I know you'll be happy tomorrow =)

I think when we girls get into a relationship, we can't help but want to and always strive to make our guys happy, but whether or not the guys appreciate the things we do is a different story. I've been doing it for six years, it's not easy of course, and it can be tiring sometimes, it makes you want to give up. But I think, at least for me, I get the strength when he appreciates the things I do for him and he tells me and shows me how much he loves me everyday. And when we don't see eye to eye about some issues (things that matters to me seems trivial to him), I'll get angry, we quarrel, I break down, but he'll always make me talk things out with him (when I may be crying and trying to walk away from him) and he'll pacify me and learn to see things my way. Everyday we're learning something new and beautiful about each other.

You know I can't express my feelings well with words, I can't write beautifully, and I don't know the perfect words to describe something as deep as love. I have a few simple words to you..but my actions will speak louder than my words. I just want to say that I'm sorry for everything I did wrong, for my temper, my moodswings, my over-sensitivity and jealousy, and my immaturity. Thank you for being my pillar of strength, thank you for everything you've done to make me happy, thank you for making me feel so beautiful everyday, and thank you.. for loving me this way. Happy Valentine's Day, dear.

Yours truly.

Away..

It's mugging season. Hence the absence. 3 papers next week. Good luck to me.

Just a few snapshots at a small housewarming gathering at YJ's new 'mansion'. Ok la not as big and majestic as Jiawen's or Christine's but still..very impressive I tell you..a beautiful house. Thanks YJ for inviting us over!! Too bad it's a school day (though it's a Friday night)..not many people came. Despite having a Statics test the next morning, I was glad I went over to say hi. Supposed to stay for less than an hour but ended up staying for about 2 hours heh. Friends are too attractive. Anyway I had to make it down because it's possibly the last time I get to see Betty and Pam for the next 6 months or so. And Pam!!! I haven't seen her for so so long since the last class gathering in December. Did I mention that girls in love are always the prettiest? =
)

Check out YJ's very own CAVE..located somewhere behind the pool place..he said the cave is for friends to sit n chill out..haha the girls find it a perfect location to pose for photos, a perfect backdrop haha. Think posing in bikini or using the cave as a backdrop for wedding photos HAHA. The cave is cool.

Daydreaming.. Jessica In Wonderland

Wednesday, February 08, 2006

Hehe. Tian's youngest bro talked to me today. Ok to be more correct, he only asked me a question, like "Hey Jess, where's the tape used to record Americal Idol earlier?". Heh shocked me for a while before I helped him find the tape. Ok la it's of course not the first time we spoke, because we communicated much more during my trip to Japan with his family. But usually when I go over to Tian's place for dinner or to study, me and his siblings seldom exchange words. They'll either be glued to the computer and SCV (think boys) or studying in the room (think sister). I don't know why..but today after I heard that "Hey Jess", I smiled to myself. haha I know I'm quite silly. I think he called me Jess because Auntie calls me Jess.

Nobody calls me Jessica anymore, other than the Engineering people. I should just change my name to Jess heh..how about Jessie? (Did Gopal call me that?! Yea if I didn't remember wrongly..he's perhaps one of the very few who actually called me Jessie) But Jessie sounds nice too heh.

Anyway it's BITCHY BITCHY JAYLA on tv now..I can't watch any longer.

Oh..and it seems like I'm the only one having tests this Saturday and on 3 consecutive days next week. That's hot.

That little girl

I 'm totally in love with Jay Chou's songs..although I can never figure out what he's singing till I see the lyrics. His songs are beautiful..oh by the way I'm the type who listens to the rhythm of the song..the music, not so much of the lyrics. Usually I'll be humming to the rhythm first before checking out the lyrics and then realise that the lyrics are meaningful (like Ugly by Sugababes) or touching/sad etc. Oh I started falling in love with Jay Chou once again because of his new album November's Chopin. My sister's so resourceful in getting good songs..she has plenty of friends who are always sending her songs. Right now I'm singing to Hei Se Mao Yi..I love Jay Chou's songs!!! I can listen to his songs over and over again the whole night and I won't get tired or sick of it. Oh he's charming too heh. My experience at his concert was amazing, and unforgettable. Till now I still can't believe I attended his concert! heh I'm going to pass this Jay Chou fever to Tian!! He's slowly appreciating Chinese songs..very slowly =p

I'm not ashamed to say this, but I'm still the 16/17 year-old girl who would go for Jay Chou's concert and even Backstreet Boys! if I have the money to splurge. I didn't know when the Backstreet Boys were coming to Singapore till I read Life! on the day of their concert. I'd love to be one of the many girls screaming at the airport =) I don't care if they're all old and lost their charm..fact is I grew up listening to their songs, and singing and dancing to Backstreet's Back after watching their MTV. I remembered watching it with my primary school classmates at Li Wei's house, Baorong was there too. We were just crazy about Backstreet Boys back then, we even named our closer guy friends after Nick Carter and Brian. My first CD might have been Backstreet's Back too..the cover was in blue. Maybe I bought Spice Girls' CD first, can't remember. But yea, my primary school days were all about Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls (Baorong was Emma Spice haha!! and of course I was Victoria Spice!..childish stuff I know =p), oh I love 911 and Savage Garden too!! My favourite love songs haha!

Those were the days, the fun-filled days, the idolisation days, the stress-free days, the unmaterialistic days, the innocent days..

I hate growing up.

A struggling undergraduate engineer speaks...

I'm going crazy soon, I can feel it.

I'm in need of the SK-II Signs Eye Mask. I wonder if it's very expensive, does it even work?

And I need to go out. I need to breathe the Orchard air. I'm suffocating every single day. Wait for me..just 2 more damned weeks. AaaAaaaAhHHHHhHhhhh

You can do it, Jess.

Ministry of Sound

Me acting cute in this cute little cradle-like thing in the Retro room at MOS. We were stopped by the Man-In-Black after each of us got a chance to take a picture with this cradle. Retro also has this damn cool black and white spiral thingy on the wall which reminded me of Austin Powers! Too bad we didn't get to take a picture of it. Oh there's also the Pure room was pretty in white and pink but all the seats were either reserved or occupied so we didn't get a chance to snuggle in those comfy, sleek and 'circular' chill-out corners. Oh the music in Pure was weird haha I couldn't appreciate it =p. See Celene's blog for a beautiful picture of Rachel and her in Pure.

Oh this place has a digital 'clock', ok there's no clock, the numbers are focussed on the wall by laser or some light, I don't know how to describe it. Thought it's quite cool but it wasn't captured in the photograph. Despite the thoughts of having to wake up at 7am for tutorial the next morning, I had a great virgin experience at MOS, dancing and exploring the huge place with my crazy and bestest girlfriends Ness! Betty! and Baoxin!! Ness and Betty were tour guides to Baoxin and I for the night..and yeap I saw Sly with his gang..Betty's acquaintance. Erm I didn't actually see his face though..his long fringe (longer than mine maybe??) was covering his face and I only saw him from the side. Verdict? Small frame. haha he looks taller on TV.

Oh..why was I at MOS (one of the last places you'll ever find me)? Because we couldn't get into Indochine for Law Bash. Totally screwed up..the guys at Indochine were so disgustingly strict..and disappointing. So in the end we didn't get to go in to support Jamie and Ricky. We'd have screamed for you babe. But I guess we got the best view of the pagent contestants because they all came out of Indochine after the pagent preview..and we were standing right outside haha. At least we got to see Jamie haha.

Dear, they're showing our-first-movie-together on Channel 5..the Thomas Crown Affair. Haha. Our first date. We watched it at Plaza Singapura. I think I wore a khaki cargo pants..those real baggy kind, and perhaps black spag? Tian would remember better..but oh gosh..how I have grown. Tian too..his hair..now he shaves..haha!! Anyway can't imagine me wearing spag top with that plump body haha. And I was boy-ish..(Jamie..remember quiksilver t-shirts **shakes head**) And what's with that cargo pants hahahha. At least I'm maturing well and beautiful. =)
