Merry Christmas!


I love my girlfriends to bits!! Jamie just dropped me off at Tian's place on her way to Ricky's, we just met up for tea with Baorong, Mich and Huiping, had a very cool gift exchange which made Mich very excited and then spent 3 hours chatting away at Coffee Bean @ Guthrie House. I loveee talking to the girls the most, though I had to hold back on my talking today because my throat was killing me and I couldn't stop coughing, the more I talk, the more I'll cough. So I'll definitely organise a New Year gathering with Betty, Ness and Baoxin too! Then it'll finally be full attendance and we can discuss on our new topic..the kenny ken ken!!! MuAhHhhhahaha only Mich, Jamie, Huiping and Baorong will know what I'm talking about. hehe we're so mean.

We had smoked salmon, turkey, ham, fruit cake and fruits courtesy of Tian's mum, fried rice, sweet and sour fish and chicken from Yanli, chicken wings from Roy, yummy cheesy mashed potato from Mich Loh, rendang and bee hoon from Joel, veg + egg + prawn salad from Chester, noodles from William and last but not least, tiramisu from Zhenjin =) It was soo good.

Jess is sick..still

To cut the long story short, it was 2 days of inflammed throat after the camp, followed by a day of fever after I gave tuition on Saturday morning. Fever subsided after the panadols, but threatened to come back on Sunday afternoon after I got home from another tuition lesson. Oh ya, I think it was because I forgot to take the panadols that morning before tuition. So I have been sleeping a lot because I'm feeling weak and cold, was slightly better on Sunday evening..at least well enough to be at Tian's place for xmas eve dinner. Food was very good and the wine + chocolate log cake was so rich but I couldn't enjoy all that very much, because I was coughing and having a blocked nose the whole night, I had to struggle to eat while breathing through my mouth at the same time.

There's xmas tea with the girls later, ok more like half of the girls because Ness and Baoxin are in Japan together chasing their Jap idols, and Betty's in China I think. Then tonight there's xmas gathering at Tian's place with Tian's gang, theme is "kinky in Uniform" haha..courtesy of Mich Loh and I supported it! It's pot luck dinner but Tian's mum has quite a bit of food already so Tian's expecting pple to da bao food home. There'll be tiramisu from Zhenjin, cheesy mashed potatos from Mich Loh, veg salad from Chester, the very good dry mee pok noodle which we all specially requested from William's mum, more fish and other liao from Yanli and Roy and Tian has a whole turkey, more than 3 types of sausages from Marche and smoked salmon..not sure if there's more food. I just hope I won't be coughing at much later on, right now I'm coughing rather vigorously in front of the computer.

Oh yes, results will be released tomorrow at 5pm. And bidding starts tomorrow too. I have yet to think of what modules I want to take next semester. I've been sleeping and also out of house too much.

Tired and sweaty

Back from 3 nights at Temasek Hall. Dance camp was a total Blast! It was 4 days of dancing till 2 - 4am + loads of good fun..I really could not have asked for more. Back in the comfort of Tian's place now, and I'm craving for a good shower and a well-deserved nap.

I don't know why this holidays seems to be passing so quickly. Another week is gone just like that, people who went overseas for holidays are back already, but I still seem to be so busy everyday. There're just so many things coming up..and now, I'm really off to rest.

Back and gone again

The only reason I haven't blogged since the end of exams is because I have no time. Life's been very happening after the exams and there's so much to say but I guess I've to wait till 4 more days later before I can finally slack at home with nothing to do. The week after my last paper on Monday saw me spending much desired quality time with Tian, then there was a girls' night out in town followed by drinks + endless girl talk @ The Loof (we absolutely loveee the place!) with Ness and Betty who're finally back (photos are still stuck in Betty's and Ness's cameras..I ought to contact Betty soon, wonder how her home renovations are progressing.), and then dance prac for Impressario commenced and then it was dance everyday with a group of amazing girls till the next Tuesday, when Tian and I left for 2 nights of Genting alone and 2 nights of KL with the rest of the gang. Reached home on Saturday night and spent a night at Tian's since my family left for Malaysia (mum's hometown) on that very same day and sis's freezing in China with her friends so that just leaves me and my maid alone at home. Had a very good sleep and woke up only at 12 noon on Sunday, that is today, for lunch - yummy duck rice from the duck rice place near NUS, then Tian drove me home to pack for tomorrow's Blast! camp, before we leave my place for Tian's dad's birthday dinner at Hai Tian Lou @ Pan Pacific Hotel. Shall blog more about all these when I get back from the 4-day 3-nights dance camp. Arghh, supposed to go to bed before 12am but it's 12.30am now. Gotta report in sch at 9am tml with a very heavy bag. Loong camp, hope I won't be too shagged by the end of it. I'm just dreading tech class because I'm so super unfit now. I'll just die stretching and working those non-existent muscles because they've obviously turned to fats over the past month.

Actually, what I really want to do now is to catch up with the girls before it's been 2 weeks since I last heard from them. Wonder what they've been up to. Think Mich's off to Bangkok already, have yet to read her blog. Ok I'll be back with more updates. Hopefully I'll be free after camp. But hmm, knowing myself, I'll never ever be free because I have too many commitments and also because I want to do so many things. Lastest addition to the list of things to do this holiday - take intensive Cantonese lessons in the last 2 weeks of my holidays after camp ends, so that I'll be fluent in Cantonese by Chinese New Year.

And while I'm stuck @ NUS for camp, a gentle reminder to my dearest boyfriend to study intensively and stop slacking in front of the computer. 8th Jan is very near, you know that. =) nights!

IT'S THE HOLIDAYYY!!!

I surrender

I don't know how to do every single question.

Li Liang tried to comfort me with an SMS today saying "if you can do 2 questions, you can get A- already..". So if I cannot solve a single question how? This has got to the my worst module ever, even last year's Maths or Statics or this sem's Fluid Mechanics can't beat this. I ought to have tried the exam papers much earlier, then only I'll know how lost and clueless I am for Signals. I'm in such a deep shit.

If I see many Bs on my result slip this semester how? Oh god I'm getting closer and closer to my downfall. And there's almost no hope of climbing up anymore.

I'm really very sian of not knowing how to do anything. I've never been reduced to such a state before.

But finally, my misery will end (temporarily) at 7pm on Monday. I really cannot wait. Tian, please come and save me from this nightmare.

This is an insane semester. 4 down, 2 more to go. The more papers I sit for, the more numb I get towards exams. Sometimes I get so tired of being disappointed, so tired of feeling so inadequate and lousy. But then I came home and saw the photo of the girl, and I'm reminded of how I should be so thankful for what I have.
