More to come
I'm much more cheerful now..after 2 plus hours of physics..don't tell me physics makes me happy haha..no la..it's all him.
My gluteus maximus muscle is hurting now..actually it's not that bad. I remembered it was much worse after the very first squash session in somewhere September or August. That was after long months without exercise so yeap..had trouble taking off my jeans..landing my butt on the toilet bowl and when descending stairs - yeap that's the worst..had to take one step at a time and hold on to the handle even. Today is fine..though can feel slight pain while climbing up stairs but haha i that lower part certainly feels tighter now..yay can't wait to get back into shape!! I'm sure after the December training my butt will be toned back to how it was before haha! Rather stressed about training though because the discipline and commitment thing is all coming back and I don't know how far I can exert myself after not training for about one and a half year. I'm definitely a lazier person now. Even waking up at 7.00am is a tremendously challenging task for me which I have yet to accomplish. Oh well..maybe next sem will force me to..but I really can't imagine lectures starting at 8am. Oh but one thing good about training now is that there's no stress not getting into the team or whatsoever..basically all the girls right now are in the team because there's 10 of us exactly (but hmm I wonder where's yvonne) and I don't mind not being in the team actually haha! Then there would be no competition stress and more time for studies! Ok I shouldn't be saying this..let's just say I'd rather play and have fun than train and be serious.
I thought about my tuition lessons halfway through physics revision and flipped through my organiser. Realised that I'm really looking forward to my December holiday which is packed with squash training twice a week, tuition lessons twice a week, dance twice or thrice a week, lots of shopping and chilling out with Tian and the girls (haha Ness and Betty would be back and I'm looking forward to gatherings all over again!), a dance camp (ok that's stressing me out so I'm not too excited about that) and Japan!!! Haha yeap I guess I would never had dreamt that I'd be given an opportunity to go to Japan so soon but I am!!! Going with Tian's family and though it's a freaking expensive trip it's supposed to be a very good price since we would be visiting a lot of places with one day of skiing at Hokkaido and another day of Universal Studios in Osaka. Zero shopping though..Perhaps because Japan goods are too expensive anyway. Well it'd be the first time that I get to see snow and touch it..erm..first 6-8 hour flight..first time to a non-English/Chinese speaking land..first time skiing..first time wearing winter clothing..Basically I'm going to have a whole lot of first-times on this trip. Surprisingly my mum didn't say much about how much she has to pay for me, just that she's not too keen on me being a nuisance to Tian's family. haha I hope I won't. I'm sure they'll enjoy my company as much as I would enjoy theirs'. That silly boy can't stop telling me every day how excited he is now that I'm going to Japan with him. After the exams, I would have to start borrowing winter clothing from friends because I definitely cannot afford to buy the jackets and pants after spending 3K on this trip. Jamie!!! Can you be so kind as to help your dear friend in need?
I had a romantic Friday evening with dear Michelle though that night certainly burnt a hole in our pockets. It was after squash and I dated Michelle to dinner at Holland V (Pity Jamie's busy again with her projects..I think you work too much la..that's why you have to chiong last minute for your project!) We strolled up and down Holland V, checking out all the different Asian and Western restaurants before ABURIYA caught Michelle's eyes. Haha I bet it's the black interior design and the prices of the udons look affordable hence we stepped in excitedly. It was a very cool restaurant which serves korean and jap food..bbq style. It's basically high-class seoul garden with of course high prices too. And since you're sitting inside staring at the menu and smelling all the bbq food around you how can you resist not bbq-ing something?! Haha so we had pork loin and lamb ami with a rice ball each. It was fun bbq-ing the food but quite obviously we can't multi-task because once Hwee Ying and Terence dropped by to say hi, we happily forgot about the meat and of course they became a little too black. I don't know how Michelle can be full after eating so little but haha I wasn't full at all. It was too expensive for us to continue ordering but at least we satisfied our taste buds. The food is very good! Everyone should try it!! Seoul garden is nothing compared to Aburiya!
Good thing there was Haagen Dazs which topped up as dinner for me and we had a good time savouring the ice cream in the company of Hweeying and Terence!! haha it was a pleasant surprise to see them there..Terence was also using the UOB one-for-one deals at Haagen Dazs. So the four of us were sitting along Holland V and just chatting about everything under the sun (oh no..it should be the moon)..like who's doing what and where..n who's attached to who..to army stuff..and to thing about how girls in Singapore lead sheltered lives haha. I thought the setting was perfect and agreed with Terence that it felt very good. You know..just sitting at a cafe with some old friends catching up with our lives..forgetting about whatever deadlines you have or work piling up at home or stupid exams..and just think about the old happy times that we shared together. It's not something that we do very often now..since everyone is all over Singapore and the world busy with their University work and army life. It was bliss.
Eski bar came to Holland V! haha thing is people inside are not the least bit cold for now. None of them were wearing jackets and you don't see water condensing on the glass door. Haha I think they're in the process of cooling the bar because when Mich and I stopped outside the bar we saw huge ice blocks being transported to the bar. haha One fine Friday night after school we can all head down to Eski bar for drinks!! I'm so looking forward to it!
Ought to get back to work now. My C Programming practical exam is on this coming Wednesday..what a perfect date.
By the way, I'm hooked onto Ebay.
