Glutton and a lazy girl

Friday was an off-day for me..only went to office for half a day and tian picked me up after work. Headed to sunset way for a haircut first before going back to his home for lunch. Was thinking about cutting my hair too cos I think the back is getting longer but fiona (hairstylist..who's very friendly and I've known her for 2 yrs already) actually told me my hair is very nice! asked me where I cut it and said it's actually the latest style now. Rather disgusted because everyday my sister would tell me that she hates my hair and haha i still have trouble fixing it before leaving home. There's just too much of a bob but fiona said that should be the way. The Toni& Guy did well according to her. But of course, it's a director cut. Still..doesn't make me more confortable. I like the colour though =)

Headed to Yanli's chalet at aloha loyang in the afternoon. Tennis session under the blazing sun for perhaps 2-3 hours before changing out into pretty clothes. Really enjoyed tennis and it brought back memories of those sessions in the evenings at RJC with daniel, dedrick, pam and jinyi. Really relieved me of the stress and boredom from studying during prelims and A Level period. Too bad the old RJC is out of bounds now. Well I look forward to playing tennis more and I definitely need more control over the ball. I want to master tennis!! haha

Party was good..great variety of food and wine selection (sadly not chilled.) Was mainly talking and playing marjong and cards..good and also not good to meet so many medicine pple. What shocked me was that they talked about nothing else except medicine. Perhaps examinations are coming up or sth..but there they go..whipping out their equipment and practising and revising what they have learnt from their clinical rounds. I'm sure there're other things to talk about!! Only when some of the girls started talking to non-med pple like me, roy n mich did they change topics. Playing cards helped too. Some med pple actually knows what fun is too..they just need to be with the right pple to bring out their other side. haha Nice to get to know more of tian's classmates..and sec school friends.

Party was a very nice one with many pple who came to spend this special day with Yanli. 5 major different groups of pple..his army friends, starhub colleagues, jc friends, sec sch friends and pri sch friends.So heartening to see that he still maintain contacts with his old friends and that they actually come to spend this special day with him. Made me thought about how I've not been in contact with my old friends..

Cake was good..more talking with tian's friends about everything from medicine to hongkong to gossips and alcohol. Thanks to aaron and kevin..we got to try different types of alcohol such as malibu(which was so damn sweet..couldn't take it on the rocks..cola is a must) and chivas premium whisky. The latter was totally horrible..I only took a sip (warned by tian) and the alcohol made me overwhelmed. Totally horrible..like fumes going up my nose and I was choking. Rated deadly by me. oh my gosh horrible experience. Can't imagine those pple who enjoy it in shots.

Played PS..then ended with marjong till 4 in the morning..haha totally love marjong and we're definitely training up to be better..under much guidance from many army pple who're PRO. The chalet was almost like a gambling den. yanli's army friends are quite scary cos they were like aiming to get one another drunk. Talking on the top of their voices and acting too high. scary. we weren't in the group of course.

Left the chalet this morning and headed to changi village for breakfast cum lunch. The famous nasi lemak was alright for me only..don't know what's so different about it. Anyway changi village is so damn far..not many pple seriously..rather dead village. Went back to tian's place to sleep for perhaps 3 more hours and joined tian's family for dinner at his grandmother's place. Great food with delicious chicken meat..followed by chocolate agar-agar for dessert and then..durians!! Haha haven't had durians for a long long time and yeap..of course I did not forget how good it tastes. I concluded the day with a huge tummy and I'm so so damn full it makes me feel fat.

I've been slacking so much and delaying the writing of the appeal letter. It's just so hard to write..don't know how to get down to writing it. Arghh. Tuition tml morning..this is a new girl from cresent sec 3. Her parents are so worried for her cos her grades are going down though she's a hardworking girl. Hope I can help..gotta meet her to get to know her better..the mother told me..You'll be a mentor to her..I won't see you as a tutor. Quite stressed..I hope I can help her at the end of the day. Don't want to disappoint anyone. Money is not very good but nvm..see how things go. I'm stopping here with 2 students. Don't think I can cope in uni with so many students. Shit if I have to go overseas how..oh shit shit

Now I'm worried. I'm so confident I'm staying in Spore for uni hence I commit to these tuition assignments..it'll be very bad if I quit. Nvm I'm praying I won't have to.

To bloghopper: Nope..don't know of anyone in your situation..should call up office of admissions to check..they should be able to tell you the course allocated. Perhaps the letter got lost somewhere in the mail.
