Today is the start of the long four years of struggle between Jessica and Engineering. I won't say that I'm totally sad about school starting because in some ways all of us will be excited to start school whether or not we're taking the course that we like. Physics lecture is at 12pm later hence I'm still slacking around at home. The downside is that I have Programming from 4pm-6pm later..my timetable sucks la.
I'm so not excited about mugging again and taking exams. I really wonder how I'll fare in Engineering. It's physics madness there..and there's no more "Charlie Chan" to help me with physics in Uni. I'm heading down to Clementi Bookstore to get my physics textbook later..Time for the transformation into a mugger.
My past week had been fantastic. I had Engin Oweek and though friends told me Engin Camp held in June was much more fun, I enjoyed myself anyhow, all thanks to my OG and councillors. We're not the most siao On people you find in Engin, we may be one of the better looking guys and girls in Engin though haha (I think some guys in my OG are rather cute haha) but the most important thing is that everyone looks out for each other and somehow we can bond well and get crazy and high together. We won many games together, we actually cheered quite loudly together, we enjoyed supper at Geylang on Friday night till 5am, we all got scared during fright night but the guys still did a good job protecting me from the hungry ghosts. Last but not least, the councillors Richard, Serena, Xiujuan & Yuan Sheng were so nice to us the freshmen, tolerating our mass "coming late" days (we reported late to pangsei them)..bringing us around to eat good food so that we have more energy to cheer and win games..trying hard to make us talk and open up to each other (which we finally did of course and that day was the best day of the Oweek) . My OG is a great batch of people with nice and quirky characters and I really hope we'll keep in contact for many more years to come.
All dry and nice..this is 4th day of Orientation aka Sentosa Day!! I must say that this is the day with the bext turnout and this is the day when all of us really played hard together and shared some chemistry.
At some points we really went crazy..really..especially the guys..wah..all started mass shouting and cheering haha..my group has some really fun people but they hid their fun sides for the first few days of orientation and only came out full force on sentosa day haha. Marilyn and I can't stop laughing at them everytime they go crazy. So cute..21-year-old guys going wild (this is among the guys only of cos..but we aren't really left out..=))
This shot was taken after one station which we had to do some simple tasks then bury poor titus. haha we sort of gave him half a sex change too with all vital organs intact..making him a half female half male..we just got a little sick haha. After we took this shot, a group of Indian guys who were standing somewhere neare us fished out their cameras, phone cameras and i thought i saw a video cam..yeap..n posed with us. Rather weird man..but I guess they just wanna capture a mischievous side of young Singaporeans enjoying themselves.
