I had dinner with the girls tonight! Our last gathering before Betty leaves for Aussie on Tuesday. You know, our lives are just too happening, meeting up once a month is just not enough for us to have a full update on one another's lives. When we grow up, we should just be tai tais and have tea every afternoon to catch up haha! It's like, we just can't stop talking when we get together and one night is just not enough! Nice, warm dinner at Crystal Jade (despite the very chilly weather and the restaurant was freezing too) followed by buy-2-get-1-free chocolate and cheesecakes at TCC till past midnight. Got a pretty and meaningful bookmark from Betty and Shaunti Feldhahn's For Women Only. I can't wait to start on it, just that it may have to wait till the holidays. It was a lovely night after a boring day at school (think Principles of Bioengineering and imagine me dozing off so many times in an hour) and tuition (feeling so tired at about 6pm) and a very wet day didn't help much. My jeans were soaked up to my knees, my jacket was also wet so it was impossible to wear it on an air-con bus because I would feel even colder. The weather reminded me of a night at London last June =p. Of course it was worse there. So I was freezing on the road all the way from Lauren's place to Holland V. Studied at Starbucks for an hour before the girls came slowly one by one...Betty's dry jacket saved me too. So everything just got so much better when I'm with the girls. I just realised I was so happy yesterday, today I'm so happy again. I can really get used to this. It feels like holiday.


I'm missing the girls already, though I'd probably see Mich and Baorong tomorrow again. Will look forward to Betty coming back in July and we can all celebrate Mich's big 21st. And...I have to say this because Tian really does a lot of things for me and I really appreciate everything...my boyfriend's the best. =)
