My new craze

Kim Sun Ah's actually very pretty, as in maybe not as beautiful as other korean actresses like her counterpart in the show above, but she can look very pretty too. Started googling about her when my sister told me that she's actually a pretty model who had to put on weight for this show, just like Renee Zellweger in Bridget Jones' Diary. Why am I suddenly talking about her? Last Sunday I started watching My Lovely Sam Soon which I borrowed from Ness's mum many weeks ago, because I mugged my whole weekend away and on Sunday I (a deprived and no-life girl) decided to give myself a short break - ok 2 hours is not short - so yea, I indulged in some Korean drama to keep myself alive from all that GROSSSSS organic chemistry. And, I just sat for my 20% Organic Chem test yesterday, nearly died of headache from memorising all those specific reagents, conditions and mechanisms for what felt like a million reactions (seriously Mich, I used to be quite good at Organic Chem in JC, but now it seems so overwhelming and I just cannot commit every single reaction to memory, despite starting more than a week ago for a mid-term paper. It's really insane I tell you, seriously, what's the point of memorising all these organic reactions?~!!! I'm in Bioengineering! Argghhh not Chemistry major or sth!!) Anyway for some reason I decided to give myself a treat again, and spent the whole of yesterday night watching 3 episodes, from 8pm - 2am. Haha I'm really crazy becaue I'm supposed to be studying, but I told myself it's just one evening and I'm going to focus on my work from Friday onwards - gearing towards the final exams. Yeap, it's going to take a lot of discipline to keep the DVDs away but I shall be good. =p

Time to rave: It took me 2 episodes to fall in love with Hyun Bin, sheesh, though he is not that photogenic, he looks damn good on screen!!! The more I watch, the more I go crazy over him. And he looks so good in whatever he wears, especially in those black suits featured in the show. In the future I shall encourage Tian to buy such suits too, he'll definitely look stunning, with styled hair of course hehe. Oh and Hyun Bin is much better looking than Rain ok haha, Rain is really not tt cute. Michelleeeee!! I love this show!! I thought it was going to be another typical Korean drama (because I think the Gong show is similiar to Full House) where there's always this poor girl who's not as pretty or talented or rich as this other gorgeous girl and a guy is usually torn between 2 girls. So typical right? My Lovely Sam Soon is also like that, but there's more to than just watching 2 girls fight over a guy, or how their relationships develop and who wins in the end, I like all the complications too and I like how they talk about life and love. And I absolutely loveeee cakes haha so I feel happy watching her make cakes, and another thing is, watching Hyun Bin and his girlfriend (in this show), Jung Ryu Won, reminds me of Tian and I. Haha, because they have this strong chemistry when they're together, it's the chemistry of being together for so long and knowing the other half so well, inside out and upside down. But I'm only at episode 5, and things are starting to turn bad for them, so sad, 8 years of relationship you know, and she's really in love with him and fought bravely against cancer to live for him, but now everything's going against her and she's so hurt. I feel so sad for her whenever she gets hurt and cries. You'll definitely love her too if you watch the show, because she's a very strong girl, and yes she's so pretty, I can't stop staring at her whenever she comes on screne, and when she smiles she'll totally melt any guy's heart. It's very rare that you'll like both girls in the show, when they're fighting for the same guy, but I'm torn between them and can't seem to take sides because I really like them both. =)


Daniel Henney & Jung Ryu Won

The girl in the picture above is Jung Ryu Won, whom I was talking about in the previous paragraph. So pretty right! She's really very sweet, has a pair of very nice eyes and her smile is so attractive! I want to look like her!! hehe. Daniel Henney, the other main guy in the show, is absolutely handsome too, he's actually better looking than Hyun Bin perhaps because he is American/British/Korean mixed..he's just sooo charming! (See, I'm really mesmerised haha) See his white coat and black shirt? I love his outfit and style. Black and white are my all-time favourite colours.

So yayyy I'm happily mugging hard (trying at least), with doses of Korean drama as fuel =) After watching Full House last holiday, I was very occupied with Grey's and now, finally I'm back to Korean drama. Think I'm going to watch Gong too before I start on House, and that would be during the Dec hols. I can't wait!

A lot of things to blog about for the past 2-3 weeks but couldn't find the time due to studies, guess I'll talk about them part by part in time to come. For now, I need to prioritise and focus! One more month and that's it. I hate the fact that I have so little time to do so many things. I'm out!
