All ready in our ShutUpNDance Dance Reflections 2006 T-shirt designed by Ahmad! (who's the first cute guy I spotted at Blast's Welcome Tea a year ago hehe) We were waiting backstage during the final item, Alumni's performance, to get back up on stage for the very last time to do curtain call. Everyone was frantically taking photos because it is the FINAL night of DR.
Me with Candy, who totally rocks. Another of my role model and I love the dance she choreographed! She's one of the friendliest seniors to me..I respect her a lot.
Ok I look bad in this photo, but I'm putting it up because it's with Callie! Ok her name is Calista, she was one of the MCs for the concert, and Dedrick went crazy over her, William thinks she's hot too! Haha she's even hotter when she dances (and she was in 3 items), so I don't blame them heh. I loveee her butterfly tatoo!
And that was it, just 3 days and it concluded all the effort we've put in for the past 3 months. Just 3 nights to perform for our loved ones, to showcase to other dance groups our passion for dance, to prove to ourselves that we have improved. I think I did myself proud because I really practised and took in all the constructive criticisms given to me over the past 3 months. It was such an intensive period and when time really flies when you're having fun.
Guess who insisted on coming for the 2nd time..luckily I had an extra ticket for him. Just 2 days ago, one of my dance friends commented that Tian and I look alike. Haha..so I said perhaps we've been together for so long that we grew to look like each other. Then I told him he's lucky to look like me..and of course he quickly stopped me to say that I'm the lucky one. Haha..
The medicine LBBC gang came too! Of course excluding Hwee Ying who was my guest and Dedrick, Christine who came with Sarah, Chin Siang and Clarabelle! My RJC 1/2S03G! Because the dancers had to pack up and vacate the theatre, we had to spend some time changing out and packing all our make-up and costumes before we could come out so I missed Sarah and Belle. Very sad. What's even sadder was that there was some ticket problem and YJ and Derek couldn't watch my performance. And I told Derek about my dance performance so excitedly long ago in July when we were chatting on MSN. Haiz very sad but nvm, there's always next year and many more years till I graduate haha.
Me with Zhenjin! Who was so nice to buy me a champagne/white rose! Yea it wasn't white..more of champagne I think. And it was a beautiful bloom..you know..roses that open up very nicely..yeap mine was like tt!
Christine! who was so so supportive. Thank you to my very sweet class who did not forget me though I'm the only soul in Bioengineering. And thank you for the lovely bouquet, especially to YJ and Derek who chose it, yes YJ, your bouquet skills improved tremendously from JC days..because he once bought something close to chrysanthemum for Sarah on her birthday. Hahahah the girls in class thought it was reallyyy weird. But then again, Ghim Mo market was the nearest to school so that explained the chrysanthemum haha. In the end it was the thought that counts. So thanks again guys, my wonderful JC class with whom I spent 2 memorable years.
The last of my darlings who could make it for the concert..Baorong! Our top medical student only arrived back in Singapore that afternoon after a gruelling medical physiology quiz in Malaysia. Yes she was chosen, with a few others, to represent NUS. How pro is that, excuse me?~!! Though it was a slaughtering session I heard haha. See the huge and bright sunflower in every photo? Baorong got it for me! It was bigg and beautiful, but somehow I didn't manage to keep it alive to see it bloom. I have no idea why. I cut the stem shorter and placed it in a vase with water of course. Upon checking everyday, I only find the sunflower closing up. The petals didn't even turn brown, the flower just started closing up and I figured it was dying. Wondered if it was because it wasn't exposed to the sun. Do sunflowers need sunlight to bloom?
Anyway I love Tan Poh Yong and I will try to commit to squash trainings because the team has a committed and hardworking captain whom I voted for and on top of that, she's my dearest girlfriend so the more I have to go down for training! I'm glad you enjoyed the performance babe. =)

To my dear Betty who sent me an SMS today (you didn't leave your name but I'm quite sure it was you haha..only you call me jeje, the other girls don't heh)..I'm sure you'll be my biggest fan after Tian too haha. I can't wait for the day that you can come for my performance! And Ness and Huiping too! Miss you Betty, miss your cheerfulness and miss the face that always make me smile. I can't wait for December to come!
