That little girl
I 'm totally in love with Jay Chou's songs..although I can never figure out what he's singing till I see the lyrics. His songs are beautiful..oh by the way I'm the type who listens to the rhythm of the song..the music, not so much of the lyrics. Usually I'll be humming to the rhythm first before checking out the lyrics and then realise that the lyrics are meaningful (like Ugly by Sugababes) or touching/sad etc. Oh I started falling in love with Jay Chou once again because of his new album November's Chopin. My sister's so resourceful in getting good songs..she has plenty of friends who are always sending her songs. Right now I'm singing to Hei Se Mao Yi..I love Jay Chou's songs!!! I can listen to his songs over and over again the whole night and I won't get tired or sick of it. Oh he's charming too heh. My experience at his concert was amazing, and unforgettable. Till now I still can't believe I attended his concert! heh I'm going to pass this Jay Chou fever to Tian!! He's slowly appreciating Chinese songs..very slowly =p
I'm not ashamed to say this, but I'm still the 16/17 year-old girl who would go for Jay Chou's concert and even Backstreet Boys! if I have the money to splurge. I didn't know when the Backstreet Boys were coming to Singapore till I read Life! on the day of their concert. I'd love to be one of the many girls screaming at the airport =) I don't care if they're all old and lost their charm..fact is I grew up listening to their songs, and singing and dancing to Backstreet's Back after watching their MTV. I remembered watching it with my primary school classmates at Li Wei's house, Baorong was there too. We were just crazy about Backstreet Boys back then, we even named our closer guy friends after Nick Carter and Brian. My first CD might have been Backstreet's Back too..the cover was in blue. Maybe I bought Spice Girls' CD first, can't remember. But yea, my primary school days were all about Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls (Baorong was Emma Spice haha!! and of course I was Victoria Spice!..childish stuff I know =p), oh I love 911 and Savage Garden too!! My favourite love songs haha!
Those were the days, the fun-filled days, the idolisation days, the stress-free days, the unmaterialistic days, the innocent days..
I hate growing up.
