The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe


So Tian and I finally caught Narnia today after a few failed attempts because cinemas were still fully packed 2 weeks after the opening day..hmm..ok la..2 weeks is not very long..gosh it felt so long really! Anyway boo to Jamie and Michelle..I love Narnia!! The show is nice what!! Ok I don't know the story..didn't read the book..and embraced the movie with a light, childish heart (if I make sense) but thing is..I'm glad I enjoy fantasy even at this age. Lucy is too witty for her age really..I would rather her talk more like a little girl. Oh but I love seeing the different talking creatures like the faun, cute couple beavers and funny half man half horse warriors and many more. Cute what! I think we should appreciate the animation and the beautiful scenes in the movie..it's definitely not easy to produce or make such shows like this..and LOTR..Harry Potter. Oh the Witch died too easily eh..it was so fast..after the lion appeared the battle is over..thought there should at least be some struggle between the Witch and the Lion..hmm maybe the producers were short of time or money haha.


Haven't been going to the movies for quite some time and I was so close to not watching Narnia because I heard quite a few negative feedbacks but I'm glad I dragged Tian down to town on this Friday night to watch Narnia. We were so close to staying at his place to slack since the show was so late and I was feeling lazy. Our typical nights at his place haha. Anyway Gelatissimo opens past 12 midnight! I can see that they're all out to earn as much money as possible..that is really a prime location..only people like Tian can walk past the icecream shop without being tempted to have some. Humph*


Can't believe it's Saturday already..I'm so happy right now I don't want the holidays to end..don't leave me pleaseee..sigh. Printed my physics lecture notes and SS readings already..soon it's bye bye to blog surfing and Ebaying and I'll be surfing IVLE all over again. Time to change my homepage too.


Sorry I suddenly got so excited..because I realised I'm actually looking forward to my 2006!! Ok I know it's here already..but it's only been 6 days. Anyway I must tell you why..this Sunday we turn 6 and we have the whole day planned..just the two of us immersed in our own romantic world. Next Tuesday I have a squash victory lunch (as Kar Yan puts it) with the squash babes at Rice Table where we'll be eating our hearts out. Next Saturday I'll be meeting my favourite girls again to celebrate Ness's 20th birthday (gosh I turned 19 not long ago and you're already turning 20..damn fast la..haha!)..and watch 19 Jan 2006 because it's the opening of Memoirs of a Geisha!!!! It's going to be my favourite movie of the year besides Rent!!! which will open on 26 April if my memory did not fail me. I'm so so super excited!!! That day when Tian and I were at Cine hoping to catch a movie, they played the preview for Rent and of course the theme song has to be my favourite 525, 600 minutes!!! I knew it had to be Rent when I heard that beautiful song..and after that I can't stop singing the song while shopping with Tian and I made him sing it too haha. I should memorise the lyrics for the whole song so that I can sing it properly heh.


He's waiting for me on the phone as I rush to finish blogging..Tian's quite stubborn sometimes..he refuses to go to bed first. I ought to warn him that I'm quite a slow blogger..


If only I can have a wardrobe hidden somewhere in my small house, which would lead me to a magical world where it snows (so that I can experience Japan at home) and allows me to live my childhood fantasy dreams..hmm..no war and talking lion though. Good night.
