I miss this girl..who is all the way in Glasgow now chasing her medical dream. I suddenly thought about Sarah..Pam..Jen..and all my other favourite girls in class who made my JC days so unforgettable and fun. We ran damn fast during PE to keep toned..we even start running before PE class!! (..Tracy is the extreme case) We rushed chemistry practicals every monday morning at the canteen and had to forgo our breaks sometimes..cos Dr Chan is ever so strict. We cried and comforted each other when I failed my GP paper..when some of us didn't do well for chemistry and things that Dr Chan made us feel so sad. We know when any one of us is having a bad day, or facing relationship problems, or simply to stressed out while balancing school work and CCA. They are the girls who would write small notes on little pieces of paper..or simply leave surprising hi!s and funny drawings on my notes (think Pam) and also write to me on nice, meaningful postcards when I'm having a bad day (think Sarah). I miss my class..I miss jc life..I miss girls..ya GIRLS. Not that guys are not as sweet..guys don't cry together with you..girls do. Guys can't sense when you're unhappy or stressed..girls can. Guys can't help me check if i dirtied my jeans or skirt when that time of the month comes..girls help each other. I can't lean on guys' shoulders whenever I need a break or support during lecture..I miss leaning on Pam and also her leaning on me.
Haha..I realised how fast 2 years in junior college flew past us..
After school today, I accompanied Tian to this Research Books store at Novena to get his Guyton. Accompanying him there to get the textbook which he needed urgently and knowing that he's happy and relieved to finally get hold of the book makes me happy too. Now he can start analyzing the cardiovascular system. Seeing him happy in Medicine makes me happy.
One day..I am going to pursue my dreams..just like Sarah did..just like Huifang did. And I know when the day comes, I will work so hard to make things perfect, and I will be a very happy girl.
