Best of NYC

The long overdue post of my first US trip...when I was over there, I attempted to blog one entry for each city but of course that never materialised, not even after TRYING to do that for 3 different holidays. Every night when you arrive back to your apartment/hostel/motel after a full day of sightseeing/shopping/eating/travelling, you're usually too shagged to blog. There's just enough time to shower, check emails, upload photos into laptop/facebook, and pack if you're moving the next morning, before you crash onto the bed and sleep. So since I'm rather free on weekday nights because I dont want to bring work home and I'm not really occupied with a book/hobby right now, I shall do a photo summary of the US trip, possibly only for Chiew who is not on facebook. The rest of the world who can be bothered would have seen all the photos on facebook when Tian diligently posted them up after we visited each city.

First up, New York City.

Grand Central Station

Shake Shack - I would totally queue for their burgers, cheese fries and milkshake! omg the burger...my favourite in NYC so far...

The Wall Street Bull

New York Stock Exchange

Tian's favourite billboards on Times Square

Statue of Liberty

Singaporeans in NYC

American Museum of Natural History - with Tian's favourite collection of dinosaurs

Metropolitan Museum of Art - HUGE, with good collection of Monet's, Rembrandt's and van Gogh's pieces.

Wicked the Musical - the next best musical to Les Miserables.

Rockefeller Center

Amazing view of the New York city skyline with the Empire State building right in the center - from Top of the Rock

View of Central Park from Top of the Rock

With Hans Christian Andersen and The Ugly Duckling @ Central Park

Central Park + lovely weather

The funky, colourful drink in NYC - Vitamin Water. Don't pay more than 2USD for it!

Brooklyn Bridge

The Flat Iron

Chrysler Building

Getting drunk @ KTV

I HEART NYC!!! For the AWESOME shopping, DELICIOUS food, FAMOUS sights, but not so much for the pee-smelling subway platforms. Basically, NYC is so happening, you'll NEVER get bored!
