ABBA Fever

Dragged Tian down to town after his clinics today to watch Mamma Mia! The Movie!!! Oh and I managed to get tickets for only $6!!! I lurrrrveeee student price!!! N the auntie at Lido was so nice to give me student price even though it was after 5pm. Anyway Tian didn't want to watch this movie for the longest time ever because he said we should just wait to watch the actual musical in New York but that's still so far away and I had a good feeling about this musical-turned-movie so I insisted! In the end I found the movie fantastic. It was absolutely wonderful, to me at least, since I have not watched the musical. I laughed, I sang, I teared, I think Meryl Streep acted and sang for her mother role so well, I think Amanda Seyfried has a wonderful voice too, I think Pierce Brosnan can't sing but that's ok, the movie was great anyhow. And I love all the songs in the movie!!!!! I totally love ABBA's songs and I'm you-tubing all their music videos now like how I you-tubed Queen after catching We Will Rock You - The Musical. Now I wanna catch Mamma Mia! The Musical!!! Oh I think the plot is good too! Not a typical boring love story. It's different, and one plot tells so many stories between all the characters, daughter-father, daughter-mother, mother-3 men, daughter n what she wants in life...the show is absolutely wonderful!

Mamma mia, here I go again
My my, how can i resist you?

And now I have a new item in my birthday wish list! haha November will be here before you know it. =p So I'm dreaming about...

I have a dream, a song to sing
To help me cope with anything

1. The iPhone - ahaha nobody can afford this, not even myself so nvm. I admit I don't need such an advanced phone but it's just to complete my collection as an Apple lover. Such a crappy excuse right haha.

2. The ABBA GOLD: Greatest Hits!!!

3. Queen: Greatest Hits I & II!!!

Not that I can't afford them but I do already have all the songs on my iTunes so I'm stopping myself from getting the CDs off the shelves.

4. Longchamp's Le Pliage Tote Bag in Black or Dark Blue as my all-purpose bag (mostly for school of course) because my current H&M bag from Eindhoven is shedding its skin and my older huge NUM bag from Tian is in an even more disastrous state - handles are peeling like crazy and dirtying my clothes when I carry it. Sadness.

On another note, I just completed my part for GEM2901 Project 1 and my PC1325 project team just had a headstart aka solid discussion for our term paper so yayyyyyy. Good good, things are moving and hopefully we'll get the projects done soon and out of the way! Now time to study for Principles of Econs mid-term test. Quite worrying.
